More than 40 people showed up in the July meeting to hear attorney Neil Kripalani speak on Asset Protection. His compelling and often times, humorous, presentation emphasized the importance of timely planning and proper structuring of our assets ownership. He spoke briefly on the different levels of entity protection (trust, corporation and Limited Liability Company); on the financial consequence of judgments, shared community property; as well as on retirement assets - ERISA (Employee Retirement Income Security Act) plans and 401K plans. Ultimately, there are two systems of Laws – – one for the prepared and one for the unprepared, two systems of Taxation – one for the informed and one for the uninformed. And the person who takes action in both arenas stands to win.
Before and after the presentation, the members had a chance to enjoy a meal of gourmet pizza as well as to network with fellow investors. .

Premier Investment Network’s inauguration meeting for investors took off with a huge blast. Over 30 people attended to celebrate this exciting launch. They enjoyed a delicious spread of sushi, salad, cookies and beverage.
